Randhir Kapoor miffed with the constant media glare on grandson Taimur Ali Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s little one, Taimur Ali Khan, has become showbiz’s favourite kid. Every day, we see a new picture of him that creates frenzy on social media. Randhir Kapoor recently got candid about the paparazzi culture stalking his adorable grandson. He chided the media for obsessively photographing his year-old grandson, fondly called Tim.

Randhir Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan

The senior actor, along with brothers Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, was speaking at a discussion during the Raj Kapoor Awards for Excellence in Entertainment event. Randhir reportedly said, “Every day, I get up in the morning and I see a picture of my grandson in the newspapers. Now everyone recognises his maid also! That’s because of the paparazzi.”

Randhir Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan

Lashing out at the paparazzi he added, “The media has created this. Now, you have the ‘airport look’ and ‘gym look’ also,” to which Rishi added, “There is a chautha look too. You go to a funeral and everyone is like ‘look at his shade of badge, the glasses’.”

Randhir Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan

Well, seems like the Kapoor clan is not really okay with the attention being showered upon Taimur at such a young age. And it’s understandable.

Sanjay Dutt wants the trailer of his biopic to be released on a particular date

Sanjay Dutt wants the trailer of his biopic to be released on a particular date

Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on the controversial life and times of Sanjay Dutt has grabbed enough interest since its inception. Also the leaked images of actor Ranbir Kapoor looking strikingly similar to Sanjay, have invited further curiosity with regards the film.

Sanjay Dutt

Along with Ranbir, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Jim Sarbh, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and Karishma Tanna also star in the movie. The film is set to hit the theatres on June 29.

Sanjay Dutt

The date on which the trailer of the film will be launched is yet to be finalised. Reportedly, Sanjay Dutt is keen on releasing it on May 8, 2018. It may be recalled that Sanjay started his career with his dad, the late Sunil Dutt’s directorial Rocky, which was released on May 8, 1981.

Sanjay Dutt

This was five days after the demise of his dear mother, the late actor Nargis Dutt. So the date holds a sentimental place in Sanjay’s heart. Guess, the makers will soon arrive at a consensus regarding the teaser’s release date soon. Also, the title is yet to be finalised even as Dutt, Sanju and Baba have been tossed around as probable titles.

Vidyut Jammwal wraps up the action-packed sequences for Junglee

Vidyut Jammwal wraps up the action-packed sequences for Junglee

Actor Vidyut Jammwal is all set to return back to the screen with his next project Junglee. Produced by Junglee Pictures and helmed by Hollywood director Chuck Russell (of The Mask and Scorpion King fame), Junglee is anticipated to be one of the most promising films of Vidyut. It’s reportedly based on a man’s relationship with elephants.

Vidyut Jammwal

The actor, who has learnt Kalaripayattu, went under rigorous training for his role. The latest reports suggested that Vidyut got injured on the sets while indulging in heavy duty action. The film’s action scenes have now been wrapped up.

Vidyut Jammwal

Vidyut even shared the picture on his Instagram handle saying, “ #junglee action finally over… SALUTE to the INDIAN STUNT TEAM..YOUNG AND TRAINED..happy birthday Anish…”.

Vidyut Jammwal

The film’s director, Chuck Russell, expressed his excitement on working with Vidyut on the project. He said, “Ever since I met Vidyut Jammwal, I could imagine no one else in this role. He has a charm and good humour that is rarely combined with such physicality. In that way, it reminds me of meeting Dwayne Johnson for the first time, for his leading role in Scorpion King.”

Being a Dussehra release, Junglee is slated to hit the theatres on October 19 this year. We  can’t wait to see Vidyut in this exciting film. Stay tuned for more updates on this.
